Hi! Im Lenny from Argentina. Im one of the operators of a small 24 drone squad thats part of a drone dance ligth show system. Im in the process of obtaining my commercial drone pilot licence.
I need your help in replacing some props.
Our drones use Phantom 1 non self-tightenning props, the keyed ones with a nut, marked "8045". I need to replace a couple that got damaged and I cant find any online or in stores in my country. The chinesse drone manufacturer can provide us the props, but the importing process takes like 50 days and we need them with some urgency.
Do you know if it is posible (in DJI Phantoms at least) to replace this props with self-tightening props, the ones used on Phantoms 2 and 3? I can get a hold of those easily. Is there any risk involved in doing this, or are any software configurations needed? I am aware that our drones are not DJI but perhaps the same principles apply in replacing the props.
