Hello!
I've had a P3S for about 5 years (doesn't seem like it's been that long) and a long time lurker on the forums. The volume of knowledge here is really incredible. I've just switched to litchi for my software and looking forward to exploring the options. I also upgraded my antennas to the argtek style. Too bad it can't fit in the case but if I gain a little range, it will be worth it. Also, part 107 certificated. I'll be back later with a question.

Cheers

Welcome to the forum!!

I have the parts for my P3S, using Litchi it found a 220' Pine. Phantom Magnet (🌲)

Couple months later it was in 5 pieces.

Welcome to posting on the forum.

I chose the Itelite DBS for my P3S's. Works great, especially at higher altitudes. BVLOS 'plus'......if ya' catch my drift. 😜

I just use a separate case for the Itelite equipped R/C, along with other supplies.

Distance flights are fun. Just remember to be aware of wind speed and direction for the return flight back to the home point. That headwind can be pure hell on a critical battery power level.

So can Phantom Magnet trees...huh @RodPad? 😃....🌴👀

The wind can be a real pain on the return trip. I always have the RTH set well above the trees but the wind at 200+ feet isn't necessarily the same as at 50 ;)

Yep, it's all about the gamble of time/distance on the battery levels. Just remember that Mother Nature always wins.......and so does Gravity. 🙄
