Ok to fly?

Hi folks
I purchased a second hand p4 yesterday locally for £350.00.
A bargain!
Anyway I had one hell of a time updating my own p4 2 weeks back to the latest firmware and do not want to go through this experience
Again.
My question is---- the AC firmware is - 01.02.0602
RC --- is- 1.80
The app on my iPad shows --- 4.0.4
Just wondering if this firmware will be ok to fly with.

Wow! That's a really great price. No idea on the FW but good luck.

Well the FW is the older version, can't remember the app version, but a few updates ago from memory. Fly it and try it and if it works, disable all future upgrades.
Bargain!

Should be OKAY. That's what I downgraded to when the latest firmware failed. Being in the US I am guessing thats about $450 US - Good deal.

Yes, a total bargain!
A quad bought for an elderly persons birthday who has always
Loved photography and filming with his Sony camcorder.
I was at at a car boot sale on Sunday past and stopped at their stall.
All that was there was an interesting lot of older cameras and
Camcorders , which were very interesting to look at.
Cut a long story short through conversation with his daughter, was brought up the p4 to which she said was a bit complicated for him to use due to his eyesight.
She was more than delighted when
I offered £350.00
Had to headto cash line machine 10 miles away to get cash.
Anyway, I got p4 flying this afternoon and all went very well.
Just tempted to update firmware on AC and Rc this evening.
Should I leave it as it is?
