Oh... This is something new to learn

So I took my Sim out to put in another phone to tether the net to the laptop and decided to fly my P3A in the mean time.

So took out my usual phone (no Sim) and went for a flight using litchi and the video was choppy as hell even giving LOS when it was 30 metres away from me.

Switched to DJI go and same thing.
Turns out my phone without the Sim was still on wifi. Turned it off... And no laggy or choppy video.

Thought I would share this with newbies as this was something I never knew.

Also my litchi missions never loaded. Kept saying "mission failed to upload"
Do I still need the Sim card in the phone? Even tho with Sim I still get the message now and then

Don't know about a phone, but I have a Shield K1 tablet (non-GSM version), and I don't have that problem.
I don't think anyone with a non-GSM tablet has these problems, but it might be that Go and Litchi know your phone has a cell transceiver, and is looking for connectivity whether cell or wifi.
Just a guess...
