No VIDEO OR TELEMETRY

Did any one solve the problem? I have replaced the WiFi module, controller, WiFi extender, camera re linked and re binded everything STILL NO VIDEO OR TELEMETRY. Camera moves as it should but NO VIDEO OR TELEMETRY ! I have vision plus and 3 standard. HELP HELP
 
I sympathise. Wish I had an answer but been looking for it for over two years. You aren't going to like my answer much, but problem started with an update to software and firmware while using a Phantom 3 Pro with a Samsung Tab 3 tablet. (clearly one that is listed in Dji's own data on compatible devices) I tried re-setting the tablet back to stock as it had previously worked. No help. To make it work, I bought an ipad. Nothing on it being used except the stuff it came with and the (now) Dji Go4 application. Worked for a year, then got another firmware/software upgrade the other day and started having similar issues to what you are seeing, but this time with a P4 phantom. Again, though, just installed a recent firmware and software update! One thing I think I am seeing? Dji is probably being asked by officials to add safety features to their software that just seem to totally mess up the needed functions! Dji GO 4 app has become so overwhelmed by added (and mostly insignificant) abilities that it stresses the tablet's ability to run properly. Hope they get back to basics some day.

Gosh, for a first post, I sure got over enthused. Sorry bout that. Been watching the group and have learned quite a bit. Just never took the time to join in. OH! and even now, with the Tab 3 used, I can fly the copter. Just have no video. Records to the mem chip fine. Quality of recording, good. Can use take off or Go home commands on the tablet. All seems to work except video.

Yes they do get hot and should be cooled with a fan if your not flying.

It’s free. I picked up a used P2 vision + last month with this issue. I researched the craft before buying it and found this article. The guy I bought it from had no idea it existed and I sure as hell didn’t tell him. I paid $400 for the craft and it came with a $280 go pro custom hard case for phantom drones. I contacted DJI once I opened up the drones case to make sure nothing had been modified and they sent me a shipping label. Three weeks later I have a Phantom 3SE for free that will be arriving tomorrow. I now have nearly $900 worth of awesomeness that I only paid $400 for. That’s what I call a sore-**** deal, you can’t beat it
 
I bought my P2V+ used. How did you answer all the questions on the survey?

Don’t, just call into tech support. Let them go through all their troubleshooting steps with you and when it still don’t work, they will start/open the case for you. When you get the e mails on your case with the forms you fill out and info you must provide or it will deny or slow down your case, do what you think is best. I can not tell you what to do but I can say that I did not send back any forms or even write the RMA # on the outside of the box and I still had resolution in my favor inside of 3 weeks from the day I dropped it off at UPS. However, do be sure to package it well. Remove the props, bubble wrap the craft, WiFi extender, and controller separate, then put all three pieces in a box with packing peanuts. I got a 16” cube box, 3 bags of peanuts, a roll of bubble wrap, and tape from staples for about $22. And that’s where I shipped from as well.

They did send me a repair e mail saying that a board needed to be replaced. $22 for the board, $65 labor. I went ahead and paid them via PayPal. Couple days later I got a call saying P2 is no longer supported or repairable, they would send me a P3 standard in its place. I reminded the nice lady that the survey and others on the phone told me it would be a P3SE. She said she would check with HQ and confirm. Few days later I got e mails on my case stating that my P2 has been repaired and was being processed for shipping. Next day I called DJI, WTF? Guy told me that those were just the generic e mails and that I would be receiving a P3 SE.

Once I actually received the P3 I called back in and I am currently working on a refund for the repairs that never happened. Even if they don’t refund, that extra $87 is a small price to pay for the bargain I got. I’m not sure what you paid and what you received but I am definitely still way ahead on my deal.

Hi, has anyone got a wifi module with the black video issue, but still showing tenementary that I could buy off them? It would need to be posted to the UK, but it shouldn't cost more than a few pounds (posting worldwide for a UK large letter is about £3-4.

I would like to experiment on the fixing of them.
