No signal with no gimbal.

Could someone confirm to me, if NO gimbal is connected if in the DJI go app it shows NO SIGNAL and if 3rd party apps (litchi etc) cannot connect?

I have been flying around without a gimbal for about 30 flights. Everything works except the screen is dark and I get "No signal". Up side is I get 21 minutes a battery and the bird is more nimble. Atti works too. Try it at altitude and be ready to switch back to P

Have tried connecting to 3rd party apps without the gimbal?
