Yes, that's been my understanding too. Provided you're in GPS mode, it will sort of bounce off the boundary like it's made or rubber and won't let you in per Solentlife's example. If you lose GPS for whatever reason and then enter and then regain your satellites, it'll autoland as per msinger's example. But remember when you're autolanding, you can still steer it out of the NFZ if you're close. You might even be able to fly it out horizontally by pushing up on the left stick, since we know you can fly that way in critical battery auto land. The awkward/scary situation is where an NFZ gets between you and the AC and you're at or near the edge of range. It will not RTH through the NFZ.
