Ok it worked at home on my desk. What have I done to loose the camera view while in flight?

You either have a failing wifi module in the bird, failing RE700 or poor antenna connections.
The wifi module has been the source of issues since the P2V+ was released. Your brief example is a familiar symptom for that unit failing. The issue is associated with an over heating of the module. The over heating is typically caused by an extended power on condition without air flow through the bird, i.e. sitting on a desk.

Check the 3 grey cables. If you get the "connection broken warning" then its usually the 4 pin connector that has been damaged or come loose.
