Newby question. New Battery on Phantom 4 pro

I believe I saw somewhere that on using a new battery for the first time I need to do something on the control. Is that correct?

The only thing you might need to do is update the battery firmware. If that needs to be done, DJI GO will prompt you to update it by displaying a message like this:
