New To DJI Phantom In Fort Worth

Hello DJI fans! I'm a long time RC airplane builder/flier. Started building drones a couple of years ago. Finally bought a Phantom 3 Standard to play with. Glad to see there is so much support. Would love to hear from other Phantom owners in the Fort Worth area. John

Got a question...on one of the landing gear legs there's a wire with a very small PC board on the end. What is it? I would like to be able to replace the landing gear with some carbon fiber gear, but I don't know what this is and/or does it have to be mounted horizontally?

Only clubs ive seen were for racing/fpv drones. Theres a ton of great places to fly around the metroplex, maybe we could arrange a meet up.

Are you aware that there is a built-in flight simulator, so on those days you can't get your bird up the next best thing is the flight SIM.
