Just crashed my phantom three standard . The receptacle that the compass plugs into has been nocked loose on one side .Is it worth trying to get someone fix it or just get a new board . Any advice would be greatly appreciated thanks

It’s not a difficult job with basic soldering competence and equipment. You can even get away with soldering the compass leads direct to the pcb for a quick rough repair that will work. The only problem you may have is if the tracks have been ripped off the board (unlikely).

Traces....LOL....I only say that because of some chastising of terminology which I received recently. No big deal. Just thought it a bit comical...no offense intended or implied....You are correct however...Peace..;)

Given I make my own PCB’s I am aware of the correct terminology. I also appreciate what terms are frequently employed in general conversation. You likely wasted a post. I just had an old engineering friend visit- he spent a good half hour lecturing me- apparently my standard steel measuring device is a “rule” as opposed to “ruler” (I called it the later). He is right. Pedantic and interested in trivial detail- but right.

Or, you could buy one of my Phantom 3 Pro’s in excellent condition...

I am guessing you are not concerned with an autopsy posting of the crash itself. So, am assuming you understand that “why”.

I think you meant “latter.” ;-) ;-)
