New Phantom 4 Owner

After experiencing issues with the WiFi Module on my P2V+ I decided to upgrade today. After a Brief flight I am absolutely over the moon with it. So many safety feature though. It is in beginner mode to start and wont let you fly very far away. Cool to see it just stop in mid air. There are lots of settings to play with and get used to.

Anyone got and tips for configuration?

I highly recommend that you start by watching and following the instructions given here:

Then after that, watch this on one setting up the camera parameteres:

I recently had my P4 back to the factory, getting a bunch of stuff replaced.
When it came back, the first thing that I did was hook it up, start it up, and go step by step through the video's.

I flies perfectly, hovers beautifully, and is one heck of a great flier.

Yes, do it in DJI go menu with p4 switched on. Props off if your not actually flying

Great I found the settings. Records in 1080p 24fps as standard. I have raised this to 2048 at 24fps and see how I get on. I noticed a lot of screen tear when watching my 1080p video back. Anyone else experienced this?
