New Phantom 3 Standard Pairing Issue

Hi! I just got my Phantom 3 Standard and I'm having an issue with getting it in the air.

To start, I connect my remote to my drone. I have gimble control but can't start the motors.
When trying to connect DJI app, it doesn't show camera or anything.

I've tried re-pairing the controller and drone, etc, but it won't resolve the issue.
Also, the drone / controller connectivity light on the controller will frequently turn red, showing the drone and controller have disconnected.

What should I do?

Welcome to the Forum!

Doesn't sound like you have activated it, you have to register it with DJI before you can start the motors.
This is not the same as registering with the FAA.
