new p3 standard owner any tips?

I have had my first ever drone, Phantom 3 Standard for about a month. I consider myself a reasonably bright guy. Here's what I would tell a brand newbie:
Right out of the box,..
Read the Manual 3-4 times,..and carefully.
Watch as many Tutorials online as possible.
Use DJI GoApp Simulator,..it will help you.
Read up on safe flying, safe battery maintenance, and Remote Control.
Join and watch PhantomForum. Lots of good help.
Finally,..it is pretty intuitive and easy to fly a Phantom. But,..there is a rather large learning curve,..and the thing can get away from you.
Fly and Hover safe.
