Guys, to see the new features, switch to F mode.
No need to upgrade TX.
And yes, it takes a long time, and the quad reboots a few times, hence the boot sound during the upgrade

AFAIK you always have to update AC, RC and batteries.

There is no update for the TX / RC

TX - Transmitter for the guy that was asking what it is. Same as RC - Remote Control

both the app and ios is here in the UK, firmware at dji and the app from app store
