Neighbor Crashed his P3P on to a pine tree about 60 ft high

My neighbor purchased a P3P after watching me with mine. When it arrived he charged the batteries, plugged his phone in and started flying without updating firmware or even reading the manual. Anyway, he hit a pine tree withing the first 5 minuets and crashed it from 60 feet up on to his lawn. He turned it over and tried to fly it right away. Only 2 of the motors would work. This is the time he called me, I went over and inspected it and it looked good except for a couple of bad props. I updated the firmware, re calibrated the IMU and guess what the bird WORKS! I am impressed it can take a fall like this and still function. I know some of it is luck. I hear a lot of horror stories about the gimble being fragile but it took and lick and is running like a champ.
