So I finally had time to put together my fpv system thats been sitting in a box, and well after I landed one of my phantoms in the swamp I had to wait for the new phantom 2 to show up which came with the h3-3d.

Setup process:

Zenmuse H3-3d
Opened up the phantom 2 and placed the h3-3d Zenmuse H3-3D Anti-interference Reinforcement Board inside on the mother board near the power see http://download.dji-innovations.com...ence_Reinforcement_Board_Guidance_v1.0_en.pdf

iOSDMini
I thought of putting the iosdmin inside but I needed to make sure that I could connect my ground station as well so right now its on the outside since it has an extra canbus connector which is needed if I want to keep my fpv, iosd and ground station running.

Flytrex
I connected it to the gps and then the cable ran outside on one side of the drone, I think If I open up the phantom 2 again ill cut one of the air duct ribs and pull the cable though their.

Lastly the Immersion RC 600Mw was set up and connected to the iosd with this cable which made my life easier and no need to solder.. http://www.firstpersonview.com/cables/p ... ransmitter

Lastly I connected my black pearl monitor to my DJI Rx, but im not sure im happy with this connector since it covers the sticks, if anyone knows of a better one that mounts further back I would love to hear about it and where to get it.

Here are some images of the set up.

In the background Im watching episode 4 of "That Drone Show" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YeLKN_6TQ6c

Any feedback, suggestions on mounting locations or fpv monitor connectors are welcome.

Cheers!

Hey - thanks, I'm just starting my install with the exact gear.

Hope you had better luck cracking the case than I did: http://www.phantompilots.com/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=12903

Doh! .. no issues on my side, the little screws on the end I was afraid of stripping but I had a smaller jewelers screw driver that I used, I did have to apply some pressure tho.
