Very useful for Search And Rescue, Finding drowned victims in streams or just curious maybe ;) Really wish I had mine when I was still working as it would have saved me a lot of walking !

Thats about it, they also want to be able to film fires and use the video as a training tool. I'm just going to give them a short demo with my Phantom 2. It will be up to them to take a look at the other products out there and their bank account

From my second post

My life doesn't revolve around your trivial needs and wants.

Yet you've turned this thread into a rant about the poor quality of DJI.
And on a DJI Forum to boot!

(Scratches head)

How many TVs do you own? Where were they made? The clothes you're wearing?

Anyway, Horizon Hobby is an American based company, headquartered in Illionois I believe.
They sale the Blade 350QX, another GoPro ready quadcopter.

It is probably made in China for the company though.

Any UAV is capable of falling out of the sky. They can all be crashed. None are 100%
reliable. Small towns usually have small budgets. If they spend a small fortune on one UAV and lose it, replacement may not be easy. In my opinion, it would be best to spend a small fortune on two lesser quality UAV ' S , having a backup. Any law enforcement and fire department should know the importance of redundancy.
