Micro USB Connection

Good Afternoon,

I have been using the Phantom 3 Pro for a few weeks now and have tried many different setting and functions, all have been fantastic. I have seen some posts concerning connecting the Phantom to a computer using a micro USB cable. Can someone please either point me to threads which cover this or tell me what uses the micro USB is used for.

I have looked on DJI's website for programs to download or tools to use and the only thing I have found was the the Transcoding tool. I have downloaded and installed the software but haven't played with it much, I would like to hear what it is used for before I start playing around with it. I am using Pinnacle 18 Studio as my video editing software.

DJI probably has some undocumented uses for it, but most people use it to access flight logs stored on the Phantom. See more here:
