Just takes a little longer to get back.Oh that's an easy answer then, that's the way Wi-Fi works, you just need stronger signal. That happened at 5000 feet with the stock set up even with windsurfers, that seems perfectly normal

Yep MT, me & Ed did quite a few urban UNboosted tests early on! Go back and check out these posts@dirtybum do you ever fly over heavily congested areas? (250ish WiFi connections/sq mile and powerlines) and if so what does your range look like then? (non boosted?)

What post number is the ? About so know which flightAnd the height question?
Maxx VS Terminator. Long distance antenna shootout!@dirtybum do you ever fly over heavily congested areas? (250ish WiFi connections/sq mile and powerlines) and if so what does your range look like then? (non boosted?)
And the height question?
It looks like from that flight I was trying to fly from unobstructed spot to prove what the Terminator could do in an urban area unboosted. I usually do just bump it up 20 feet but being from that spot so low down in topography I might've climbed in higher increments. I couldn't find my DJI log for that day to tell if I was actually that high I'm guessing I wasn't and the HD log was just a little off as they sometimes are. Now I got a question for you MTR, are you an agent of the FAA are you conducting investigation against me if you are you were required by law to tell me since I asked, are you a cop?
No I don't believe that, I was just teasing! If I did go up even 400 feet because I had trees a mile and a half in front of me and it 4 miles out I would just have to climb that high from that controllers vantage point, I can assure you that's not the way I like to fly. I find it really hard to aim at long-distance is if your bird is 400 feet off the ground. It's a whole lot easier and more consistent if you can have a good high elevation to take off from & and your bird only has to climb 200 feet or more. The best aiming is from a wide-open vantage point keeping your big panel barely tilted up from horizontal with the ground(just above the horizon) then leave it there and instead of moving your antenna up move your bird up when necessaryLololololol. I really hope you don't beleive if you ask, I must tell. And no I'm not lmfao. I'm just trying to figure out if my range I'm getting is bad,avg or good. And that was a 23k run and being at 550ish ft then I'm right on track.
