I am up in the North Carolina mountains (2880 ft). The outside temperature was 88°. After. Completing the first flight I happened to touch the motors. Man they were hot. I removed the battery and it was hot to the touch. Did the altitude/temperature exceed the spec for my Phantom?

Thanks I just don’t remember the motors and batteries being so hot when I am fling in my home area.

It's called power consumption which is normal depending on how fast your flying. For every action there is always a reaction.

Hi Jason. I do indeed remember the law of thermodynamics. It just seemed different in the mountains than down the “flatlands.”
