Mavic Pro Platinum handheld Katana tray

Hey guys, got a quick question hopefully the DJI veterans can help me with. I just bought the PolarPro Katana tray to do handheld shots with the Mavic (instead of buying an Osmo because im cheap), but when I use the Mavic in WIFI mode, the virtual joysticks keep me from focusing when I tap the screen. Can someone help on how to focusin this situation?
