Long time Sport Photog / New P4P Owner in Texas

A friend finally talked me into purchasing a quadcopter the other day and of course my brand new P4P came with a DEAD BATTERY. Figured I’d kill time by introducing myself and browsing the forum.

My name is Andrew and I am a freelance sports photojournalist. I contract with various agencies (Getty, AP, USA Today, Icon, etc). I have always been a gadget freak and prior to shooting stills, I did lots of video work. When HD hit the market, I decided to go stills vs. retooling all of my gear. Now with dSLRs and drones having such killer video functionality at reasonable prices, I guess I’ll get back into it. LOL
