"Location" missing from Flight Records since 2.4.0 upgrade

Prior to the latest upgrades the Location would update on the flight record section of the Go app immediately after I was in LTE or wifi even if I would be in Airplane mode during the flight. Now all the new "Locations" say "Map Loading" even though the maps and satellite maps show up on the record. Has something changed in the app?

I've seen this reported several times in the past month or two. I also have seen it lately, but not on all flights. I don't see any pattern to it.

I have had this issue on all app versions from day 1. Seems to me it was related to rural vs. urban locations - rural spots always showed Map Loading.
