Got a little footage this weekend. I think it turned out ok... but my main issue is video quality. When I try to upload the quality is horrible!! Looks good on my iPad viewing them after I shoot but the turn to garbage.. any suggestions for a newb?

Yup... You hafta Upload them to your PC/ computer first...
then run them through an editor to save them as a video file. I usually save mine as .mp4 and then upload those..
My editor gives me a choice of the quality of .mp4 file I wanna save to my system to upload.. I like to upload a full HD file..
