Folks need to read page 37 of the v1.16 manual. The zones where the motors will not start are relatively small and located only at the busiest airports, NOT all airports. So here in SOCAL where you can almost walk across the map on airports, there are only two, LAX and John Wayne/Orange County airports on the list (near me). The no start zone is 1.5 miles around the center of LAX and 0.62 miles around John Wayne. As you move away then altitude restrictions come into play. But what in the hell are you doing flying that close to a major airport??
BTW, airports in SOCAL with NO restrictions in the software are Long Beach, Los Alamitos, Fullerton, Whiteman, Van Nuys, Burbank, and a few others.
An oddity has been discovered. It appears that DJI listed all the airports with "International" in their name, regardless of the actual airspace classification. Go figure.
