Lens fogging up in cold temps

I flew my P4p up in the canyon in 15° F. It did great but I had one problem that happened every time I got out of the car to fly, the lens would fog up. After a bit I would wipe it off and ended up getting decent shots but does anyone have any recommendations to prevent that?

They make anti fog spray for motorcycle helmets and googles, might try it.

Just put it outside your car for ~15-20 minutes with battery out and let it cool. You, sir, are trying to beat physics

Nice area and shot man. And yes, like has been said. Your lens cant go from 60 degrees and then quickly be brought out to 15 and not get some fogging depending on the moisture in the air. Bird has to get closer to outside temp to go away. Leave battery in the car to stay warm. My lenses do this in the summer just the opposite. Air conditioning inside and then quickly try to jump outside with 90 degrees and 80% humidity. Instant fog! Takes 5 or 6 min to go away.

Understood, thanks. I knew I had to keep batteries warm but for some reason it didn't dawn on me to just leave the bird outside for a bit before.

Thanks! I was keeping it warm in my car for the batteries sake and didn't think to leave the bird outside without the battery. #noob

You might have different results, but when I put mine outside in really cold temps for that length of time, the bird demanded an IMU calibration before it would fly. Just sayin'...
