Landing gear stabilizer causing flight problems

Has anyone had flight problems after placing landing gear stabilizers on their P4A ?I had a very difficult time getting mine to descend after putting them on. Thought I would check with everyone else before I troubleshoot everything. 'Thinking the crossbar is fooling the down sensors.

You can work around that issue by disabling the "Landing Protection" setting in DJI GO.

If there is anything in the way of the sensors you will have a very long and hard fight getting it down, it may even want to keep rising on you if you don't give it any stick input.

Try using it without the center cross board and see if it works ok with just the landing gear extenders.

Well...I took off the cross bar and my bird is healed! thank you.

Yeah, gimbal protectors usually don't work on P4's, P4A or P4P. They worked fine on all P3's. The P4 VPS sonar is apparently too strong. I think the sound bounces off the protector and confuses the craft, even if it's not directly below the VPS sensors. It can be positioned as far forward as possible, and it will still mess things up.

Glad it worked, I use mine with just the landing gear and everything has always been fine so I figured it was the crossbar.
