Just downloaded the latest RC firmware for P4P ..

Am I the Guinea Pig here or has someone else ran the latest P4P RC firmware? Version 01.04.00.00

I tried to load it through the DJI go 4 app but it didn't work.
kept saying Downloading for about 25 min so I shut it off.

well i may have a high priced paper weight now.
I did the firmware update through the computer.
when all was said and done these are the numbers I got through
about.

rc 01.03.00.00
do theese numbers look correct?

IOS app has since been updated to 4.0.6 (I think Android to 4.0.5, but not sure).

I tried to update the controller through the dji go 4 app and following messingers instruction ity did not work.
how do I update the controller through the dji assistant 2?

well I beat on it some more and got both controller and a/c to update.
wonder what will go wrong when I try to fly it?

I updated my P4P, then the RC followed by the Go4 app. Test flight in moderate wind out to 2600 with no issues. Nice hover within a few inches, I could see it bobbing a bit correcting for the wind. Even the horizon stayed straight with some pans and yaws. So far so good.

I did the RC update yesterday (3/22) through the Go4 app. The update went smooth and I did not notice any difference good, or bad, when I flew directly afterwards

What does this update improve?

I did not see any info on what it updated on the RC. I did an update on the bird last week and noticed something about gimbal control included and then read a couple of reports about gimbal going limp during flight, so I'm keeping an eye out for that. Too windy to fly today.

This firmware was release a while back. Just check my p4p and no update
