I never paid much attention to drones. Expensive toys for people with much money.
Then when the UK introduced registration, I did a little research on what was available.
I saw some amazing professional youtube footage shot with a Mavic Mini.
Looked at prices for the Mini, and weighed up whether a little Tello would suffice.
The Tello is limited, and the video prone to being jerky. Then took another l at the Mini videos,
and that was the decision made. I had to get a Mavic Mini.
So far, I've only made one flight, in my back yard, at altitude 3 feet, to check it all works.
It is pretty quiet.
I need to get to grips with all the controls and settings, and practice driving it.
I think for me, it is all about creative photography, rather than flying.
The drone is just a tool to put the camera in place.
I look forward to having fun, and sharing my results.
