I posted a question yesterday having to do with downgrading P3P firmware after doing the 4K mod on the P3A. I had one answer from Digdat0, which mentioned the tedious manner in how the downgrade had to be done. In fact, he had installed an HD cam/gimbal on a P3P, the opposite of what I'd planned.

After reading many stories of frustration due to the complications involved and even bricking, paperweighting, etc., I'm NOT gonna do any firmware downgrading on a modded P3A. Unmodded, it's running v.1.10.90 with no problem. Latest firmware version for the P3A is v.1.11.20.

However, I may do the 4K mod on the P3A and then install the LATEST P3P firmware via SD card. That's now also v.1.11.20, but with the "P3X" prefix.

Or, I might try installing the P3P v.1.10.90.

Which would you recommend? Do you foresee any problems or cautions I should take in doing any of this?

As always, thanks for your input. It is much appreciated.
