hi just a quick and probably silly question... ive just set up my fpv... but do I remove the plastic coated seal around the immersion 600 transmitter? haha cheers

no. Leave the plastic ON 
. Also make sure you mount it so that you don't cover the heatsink.

it's a little bit of metal that helps dissipate the heat that is generated by the components of the transmitter. If you look, you'll figure out which bit it is.
