I cant Calibrate my Compass why?

I crashed my drone and broke the gimbel when I hit a water tower with cell tower on it. Now I can not get signal or calibrate my compass, what do you think is wrong?

If it broke the gimbel then it may have also damaged the external compass that's attached to the langing gear. Check the plug on it to be sure it's tight. Are you getting a compass error on start up?
