Update:
I have a P3S that I use as a 'mule' for training the kids, letting friends 'have a go' etc and I hooked it up with the M3Lite earlier today. It runs fine using DGI Go (products before P4) and Litchi, both downloaded today from the Play store. Each time I just ran the memory cleaner before hooking it all up.
