How to record screen

How do I get my tablet to record? t's a Samsung Tab A. I thought I saw that option somewhere.
And if it's recording, will it record whatever screen I have up i.e. FPV or satellite map? Or does it only record the fpv-camera view?

You probably need to download a screen recorder app, I do not know if it is inbuilt on the Samsung.
It records whatever is on your screen, so if you flip to map view it will show that. Hope your device has enough grunt to run both at once.

Ok. I thought it was just a setting I could turn on. Is there a benefit to doing this?

A benefit to installing a screen recording app? It's required since the Android OS does not have a built-in screen recorder.

Note: to record sound, you need to use your speaker instead of your earphones or something like that.
