Hi!
I'd like to simulate the wookong POI feature (rotating around a point).
I was under the impression that HL could be used.
Switch to HL -> fly 10m ->orient the nose toward the HL point -> strafe left or right (it should circle around the HL).

For me it doesn't work, just goes left or right in a straight line.

Did I get the HL function wrong or am I missing something?

Yes you have it a wee bit misunderstood.

Home lock and Course lock aren't all that different except for the 10m envelope.

Course lock uses the heading at warm-up for 'forward'. When you push the right stick FORWARD regardless of the a/c orientation when switched into that mode the a/c moves in the heading stored at warm-up. This heading remains fixed during the flight unless re-set with S2. All other flight controls work relative to this forward direction.

Home lock uses the heading created dynamically [a straight line] between the a/c's current location and Home location when switched into that mode. Pulling the stick BACKWARDS returns the a/c to the Home Point in a straight line. Pushing forwards on the stick moves the a/c away from the Home Point in a straight line. Again, all other flight controls work relative to the forward travelling direction.

This perecludes any means to fly a circular path based on Naza IOC.
