Hi, hoping someone can help, I have been given the task to set up the tablet I brought my Dad (79) for Xmas to his phantom3 . I have got as far as connection, but keep getting authentication problem!!!!! Is this a password problem? Can I change this or reset without knowing previous password, or is there something elseI can do. Everything is flashing and beeping so connections are good and have tried different devices. Hoping someone can help me as I am a frustrated daughter, who needs to get things off the ground literally.
Please help me.....thanks in advance.

When you downloaded the dji app, did you activate the account? Username, password to register the aircraft for use and warranty. From memory it should prompt you when you connect the app and devices so you can get up and running.

As noted above, activate the Phantom in DJI GO like this if you haven't done so already:

Cheers for that, I don't know how to post links using my iPad. This is probably out of line, but have you ever thought of moving to Australia and setting up a busines? You are that far in front of the local competition that even the reputable trouble shooters for an ongoing issue i am having with my P4 are looking you up for ideas. I have a nice house on a lake.....

I don't think I'd ever move to Australia. With the power of the Internet, physical location doesn't matter much anymore.

Agreed, but people of your calibre are thin on the ground in the emerging Australian market. Still if ever you come over here on holidays you and yours will have a place to stay. Your fan base is pretty big.

Thank you.......We are now up and running and the temptation was too great, took it out and tried it, managed to switch the camera on to film my first flight, didn't crash and think I might even like to do it again, if my dad will let me, but guess I will have togive him his toy back. I will however kerp this site to hand. Thanks again.

What did you end up doing to fix the issue?
