I'm a newbie and just purchased a P4pro with intent to use it to assay deer and spot hog herds on my country property in South Texas. I'd like to hear from anyone who has successfully used a P3 or P4 to do this kind of thing. I ordered everything, including a set of Fat Shark Dominator goggles to be able to do detailed scanning for beasts. I'm required to assay deer for a wildlife tax exemption requirement, so this tool should be very helpful. They are very elusive and my game cameras are an inefficient way to estimate population.
Am planning to set up a regular flight plan program to search the property thoroughly on a routine basis. If successful, I plan to vector in hunters to where the hogs are, as they are a real destructive force and breed like flies.
