A few things for the new users like myself
Read everything you can on this forum or the other one, some good advice out there, especially about Naza mode
Update the software new FW is very stable, peeps on here going on about the slower decent rate.. I found it to be a good thing. maybe it will bother me in the future but at the moment it gives me confidence
Waiting for the GPS lock can take up to 2 min or more, relax and wait
Give it throttle on take off, I use the case to launch from to give it a bit more clearance
go up to 10 feet take your hand off the throttle and check it hovers
The DJI doc have a little bit about some excises you can do, get the basics down cold.
don’t fly over your head, fly in front of you
At the start keep it pointing away from you so you don’t get confused about left and right
When descending don’t come straight down as it might get caught up in it’s own propeller wash, think that’s why DJI slowed the Phantom down on decent
I tend to catch mine in the air so I avoid tipping over, keep the stick down and if it does not sense a decent rate after 3 second it shuts of the motors

anyone else think of anything to add ?
