H3-3D securing pins interference

has anyone else noticed that the H3-3D securing bushing pins can come into contact with the vertical arm of the gimbal? is this ok? it decreased the gimbals extent as to which it can move left.

it's a "design feature". ops normal.

a lot of folk use small zip ties as a replacement to the pins.
