This is a pretty good test to see how the gimbal handles strong winds and high speeds I think. Pretty sure no phantom will ever get to these speeds
I've seen many post from folks who say if they are flying their Phantom at high speeds the Zenmuse will go limp.
Seems that after watching this, they may have other issues.
I had also heard of the gimbal going limp under excessive high loads, there are examples showing otherwise so its a bit odd. I have seen a few people on phantoms that have had them go limp and I suspect it may be something to do with the PMUv2. Seeing DJI have announced the new phantom board that does away with the new PMU this may be for more reasons then simplifying the install and weight reduction. Though after seeing the board I would much rather use that then need to have the PMU and Zenmuse controllers also inside the space limited phantom.
Mine will only enter hibernation when I slam it into a 180 degree turn. Has something to do with the g-force its under. Id rather it hibernate than burn out the motors. Cool video.
