Gopro hero 3 black video out issues.

I bought a used Hero 3 black for fpv use but get no video out of the usb port using the special cable. The camera has firmware 3.0. I upgraded to v 3.03 with no difference.

I did a search and found people saying Gopro had disabled video out after v 2.0. Problem is I cant find the older firmware anywhere on the net for the standard version 3 camera.

Can anyone confirm I need v 20 firmware and if possible let me have the file or point me in the right direction.

I bought a used hero 3+ black and was able to rollback the firmware to 2.0. Not sure about the hero 3.
