Following on from my last thread about DJI fixing my drone for free (they wanted to charge me £550 but now dropped the charges) I can say that its on its way back but... With a twist

As it was in for repair I asked if they can also look at the battery too in case that was an issue. Got an email back saying that the drone is now on it way.

Checked the serial details and the battery serial listed on airdata is different to the one they are sending me.

Also the serial number written down on the repair form for the drone is now different to the one I am getting. Refurbished? Brand new? Makes no difference to me. One thing I do know... I won't customize it with decals. Every time I do it brings bad luck. Will just keep it pure white lol.

Will keep you updated on how things go. But want to give a big thank you for DJI for the quick turn around on this. And the irony is...

My phone from China has been stuck at customs in Heathrow since last Wednesday and still hasn't budged, and since then my drone has been sent to Norway, repaired and most likely be here before my phone even tho the phone is about 2 hours away from me. Still.... Can't wait to be with the drone, esp the weather is warming up now .

10/10 for DJI [emoji16][emoji16][emoji16][emoji16]

Great to hear that your drone is on its way home. I think DJI is doing a better job now than in the past on repairs and turnaround times.

As for your phone...........the agent probably found a game on the phone that he can’t get to the next level on. [emoji12]
