The UV filter always seems crazy tight the first time it's removed. Here are some tips that should help:
1) Position three fingers evenly around the outside of the filter (so you can apply even pressure) like this:
2) Grip the filter as loosely as possible. If you grip the filter with a lot of force and/or attempt to use tools to remove it, it likely won't budge and you might damage it.
3) Hold the camera steady with your other hand.
4) Push the filter against the camera with a little bit of pressure as you turn the filter counterclockwise.
If the filters slips through your fingers when attempting to turn it, then wear rubbers gloves or wrap a piece of thin rubber around the filter (like a rubber band).
Oh man @msinger got there as I was typing. I had to wear a latex glove to get the original off the first time. Seems too much pressure prevents it from releasing on my P3A.
