Gimbal disconnected

Hi there, my P4P made a dive in a river... after disassembling the gimbal and drying everything with air and rice for a few days... I reassembled everything: the drone is ok, all parameters fine and seems to fly as always. But I'm not seeing the camera and it says "no transmission signal", in the main page it says "gimbal disconnected"... Note that during startup the gimbal make its setup "dance". Even the gimbal movement from the Rc doesn't work. I double checked the flat cable connections and seems (seems...) all set. Please help!

I had the same problem a couple of months ago. I tried everything to fix it. I eventually ended up buying a new camera/gimbal set up from B&H. Three months later I just ran into the same issue. Not to sure why this is happening.

I was flying last week for a local public works dept and in mid flight, the gimbal went limp. Never seen anything like it. I was able to navigate home. attached is the video.
