geospatial orientation of rc relative to ac

Funny question, was hoping to get an answer. Do you need to be facing a Phantom 3 Advanced to maintain the best signal or can you face any which way with no detrimental effects? I don't know the specifications of the antennae and where the signal is directed outwards from the antenna
