I’m unsure how advance registration of an ARN might provide any immunity from the ultimate enactment of the proposed changes. I have only quickly read the proposal however.

Agreed all should comment on the discussion paper to the extent they might have concern or contribution.

I got my ARN last year in anticipation of this happening.
I don't know that it will help but it certainly won't hurt.

I completed my submission last week and received a copy and acknowledgement of same, so it will be interesting to see how this pans out. Just hope that enough people will bother with the survey as you can imagine the crying from those who feel maligned when additional regulations, NFZs and other possible restrictions are invoked. We have been advised....
