A few weeks ago I wrote DJI if they will implement an Option where the Phantom stores Locations of about 15-20 Seconds that can be used to let the Bird fly back to a Position where Signal still is present. SOme of us is often flying only with the Display an may forgett to keep track of possible Obstacles in the way. If a Signal Loss then occurs, you can gain control again when the Phantom flies back to an ealyer Position. I think 15 Seconds are enough.
this is why I had this Idea:

As is now, the Phantom stores the current GPS location multiple times per second in the onboard flight log. All they would have to do is add a RC signal loss setting to fly back to the previous GPS coordinates for X number of seconds.
