flickering black lines across the video

Hey guys,

I went out flying this morning, and when i got back and was looking at the video, there are some segments with these black flickering lines going across the picture.....any idea whats causing this??

Looks like Prop shadows to me. Sun reflections.

You can resolve that issue by using ND filters or a lens hood. Shooting video with the sun behind your Phantom will help eliminate the problem too.

Thats also what i was thinking, but wasn't sure!!

I guess the only way to avoid it is not flying in the direction of the sun?

Thanks msinger! A lens hood? Ive heard of ND filters, but not sure what a lens hood is? Sorry, I'm a noob lol

Im relieved that its just that, thought maybe i was having some camera hardware issue.

For example -- the Neewer lens hood.
