Just got my Headplay goggles from China yesterday (ordered back on Dec. 9 ….ouch).

As I've seen posted here and on Headplay.com, the mini-HDMI to mini-HDMI cable I have
(and mini-HDMI to HDMI adapters) will not fit into the mini-HDMI socket on the Headplay goggles.
There is just not enough room in area surrounding the socket of the goggles.
I know I'll have to shave the mini-HDMI connector plug down a bit, probably on the left side to make it fit in.
I am thinking of using a razor blade or Dremel tool.
Just thought I'd ask if anyone has any tips or advice before I proceed, (besides the obvious don't cut myself).
Thanks

I believe its a Micro (Type D) HDMI, not a Mini (Type C). I have a Headplay HD Goggles and the Micro HDMI fits fine.
Hope this helps.

It is a mini on my head plays. Here is a pic of mine.
